The BLOC Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to revitalizing urban communities through redevelopment and construction training programs. To support our mission, we invite you to contribute to our efforts. Contributions are tax-deductible.
The BLOC Foundation provides pre-apprenticeship and workforce training programs that prepare women, veterans, formerly incarcerated adults, and young adults of color for high-demand careers in the construction trades. Through hands-on instruction, industry-recognized certifications, and comprehensive support services such as childcare, transportation, and career coaching, The Bloc Foundation equips participants with the skills and confidence to achieve long-term stability, independence, and success.
In 2025, we achieved;

$50 - Tools of the Trade
Provide a new trainee with basic safety gear, gloves, goggles, and a hard hat, for the first day on site.
$100 - Classroom Champion
Cover the cost of training materials and textbooks for one student during the 16-week program.
$250 - Skill Builder
Support OSHA-30 safety certification or other industry-recognized credentials, ensuring graduates are job-ready.
$500 - Supportive Foundation
Provide essential wraparound services, such as transportation, childcare, or other support, so trainees can focus entirely on completing their training.

Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission.
Are you passionate about empowering women, fostering entrepreneurship, and making a lasting impact in our community? The BLOC Foundation is looking for dedicated volunteers to help us drive our mission forward.
